STEPPERS Volume 1 Kickstarter Launch THIS FRIDAY
STEPPERS Volume 1, collecting the first six chapters, is launching on Kickstarter this Friday, April 18th. While I hate saying things like “this book is important”, we did create this thing as a means of catharsis during some particularly trying times.
STEPPERS is a neo-noir tale exploring themes of violence, civil unrest and personhood which weaves together classic characters from the public domain with gritty realism. STEPPERS ponders about what political resistance even looks like in the modern age.
While this book is certainly sympathetic to that resistance, it certainly isn’t a cure. We acknowledge this book won’t be for everybody. But for those willing to give it a shot, this comic explores the nuance of counter-cultural art, forced to vocalize its message through the platforms built upon the economic freedoms it rallies against.
